Tony Fogarty

Dr Tony Fogarty

Managing Director

Dr Tony Fogarty is an expert in Fire Safety, Emergency Response and Risk Management.
He is a Fellow of the IFSM, a Chartered Safety Practitioner and a National Accredited Fire Risk assessor, holding the European Diploma in this area. Tony has also worked for West Midlands Police in specialist areas, where he developed his knowledge of emergency planning and contingency planning. He has a solid all-around understanding of the safety industry. He is often called upon as a guest speaker on specific topics and has sat on many steering groups.

Tony is on the Nationally Accredited Fire Risk Assessors Register (NAFRAR). Tier 3 is a list of individuals who can carry out Fire Risk Assessments on high risk and complex buildings. They have registered through a process that has recognised their achievement at the highest standards and levels of competency for fire risk assessors available in the UK.

Andrew joined RM in 2018 after graduating from the University of Leeds with a BSc (Hons) in Chemistry. Andrew started out providing administrative support to the company. He worked his way up to his current position where he manages RM’s business processes and spearheads our client helpdesk. Andrew enjoys expanding his industry knowledge and has recently received the NEBOSH Certificate in Fire Safety and the FDIS Diploma in Fire Doors. In his own time, Andrew is a keen musician and music producer.

Scheduling Manager & Site Services

As a Health & Safety Assessor and Technician, Gary joined the team in 2011. He is experienced in site safety and occupational risk management. In addition to his field based services, Gary also has the role of Scheduling Manager, ensuring that our clients are kept up to date with bookings and risk assessments are completed in a timely manner. He is a big Aston Villa fan and a keen and talented footballer himself.

Steve joined us in 2009. He was previously a Royal Marine commando where he learned many key skills that he’s brought to RM Risk Management. His disciplined approach to detail and due diligence has meant he manages many special tasks which require a keen eye and detailed methodical approach. Steve has undertaken many internal and external courses over the years and is a valued member of the team always offering a calm influence and delivering projects in a timely manner for clients.

Matt Collins

Matt Joined RM in 2011 as an apprentice. At the time, we wanted staff who understood our client’s needs, specifically in the property management sector, so we decided to take on and train our own consultant to support the senior consultants. Since then, Matt has become a very popular team member and knows our business inside and out. He undertakes multi-disciplined audits and visits client sites regularly. Currently, he is a Graduate of IOSH and working towards his Chartered status, having recently completed his final formal qualifications.

Matt is on the Tier 2 Competent Fire Risk Assessors Register. Tier 2 is a list of individuals who have been mentored, have completed an examination held by The Institute of Fire Safety Managers and have been deemed competent to carry out fire risk assessments on buildings ranging from simple / less complex to medium complexity and normal risk.

Sylwia has a demonstrated history of working in high paced consultancy services. Skilled in team management and staff development, she has successfully managed and trained a team of Legionella consultants working for companies such as BNP Paribas. She has over 10 years’ experience in conducting Legionella Risk Assessments on hot and cold water systems, cooling towers and process systems. Her advanced knowledge and experience in health and safety regulations means she can provide clients with site-specific policy and written support. As a C&G approved trainer, she delivers our Legionella training courses for clients and staff.

Matt Woolridge

Fire Safety Consultant / Fire Door Inspector

Matt has been working with RM since 2018. During that time, Matt has completed training to become an IFSM Tier 3 Fire Risk Assessor and is a highly competent Fire Door Inspector. Matt takes the lead on managing our BAFE accreditation, ensuring we remain compliant and allowing us to provide high-quality, BAFE accredited Fire Risk Assessments.

Ethan joined us in 2020 as an Apprentice Health and Safety Assessor. He is making excellent progress shadowing our consultants and learning a lot very quickly. As well as completing a plethora of in-house and online training courses, he has recently received the IOSH Managing Safely certificate, NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety & FDIS Diploma in Fire Doors.

Dave Alsop has years of experience within the passive fire protection industry. He is involved with installation and surveys of penetration sealing systems within buildings, ensuring that our clients’ properties are provided with suitable compartmentation.

Graham has been working with RM for many years. He has a wealth of M&E experience, having worked as an engineer for many leading M&E outfits throughout the UK.

Helen joined us in 2018 having had substantial prior experience in the asset management and property development sector. She ensures that the finance department operates effectively, with suppliers paid on 30 days or less and management accounts promptly generated every month.
