Tony’s background comes from the Mechanical and Electrical engineering sector, working for institutes such as Birmingham University. He’s a Chartered Safety Practitioner and Qualified Asbestos surveyor, and a National Accredited Fire Risk assessor, holding the European Diploma in this area. Tony has also worked for West Midlands Police in specialist areas where he developed his knowledge for emergency planning and contingency planning. He has a solid all-round knowledge of the safety industry. He’s often called upon as a guest speaker on specific topics and has sat on many steering groups over the years.
Tony is on the Nationally Accredited Fire Risk Assessors Register (NAFRAR). Tier 3 is a list of individuals who are able to carry out Fire Risk Assessments on high risk and complex buildings. They have registered through a process that has recognised their achievement at the highest standards and levels of competency for fire risk assessors that is available.
Steve joined us in 2009. He was previously a Royal Marine commando where he learned many key skills that he’s brought to RM Risk Management. His disciplined approach to detail and due diligence has meant he manages many special tasks which require a keen eye and detailed methodical approach. Steve has undertaken many internal and external courses over the years and is a valued member of the team always offering a calm influence and delivering projects in a timely manner for clients.
Matt Joined RM in 2011 as an apprentice. At the time, we wanted to have staff who understood our client’s needs and specifically the property management sector, so we decided to take on and train up our own consultant to support the senior consultants. Since then Matt has become a very popular member of the team who knows our business inside out. He undertakes multi-disciplined audits and visits client sites on a regular basis. Currently he is a Graduate at IOSH and working towards his Chartered status having recently completed his final formal qualifications.
