Fixed Ladder Testing
Periodic inspections by a competent person are required under Regulation 5 of the Workplace (Health, Safety & Welfare) Regulations 1992, the Work at Height Regulations 2005 and BS 4211:2005.
When inspecting or re-certifying a ladder, a risk rating must be determined by considering its physical compliance and factors such as lighting levels, environment, housekeeping, proximity of adjacent services etc.
RM Risk Management are qualified at certifying ladders and offer a competitive service that complies with the current legislation.
